AKASHA - A retreat for body, mind and soul

AKASHA is a Sanskrit word meaning “all pervading space in which all things are known to be whole”.

AKASHA Retreat Centre sits high upon the mountaintop, with a most breathtaking vista – from French Island through to the You Yangs. It is a place where the sky clearly meets the land.

Akasha Retreat Centre is not a B&B in the traditional sense. It offers so much more – it is a retreat.  Located in Upper Beaconsfield, an easy one hour drive from Melbourne, Akasha is a quiet and secluded place that you can visit to rejuvenate and revitalize your being – to remember the wholeness that you are.

Throughout your stay at Akasha, you may like to join in with morning meditation, take time to have a Reiki treatment and/or massage, or perhaps just enjoy the peace and tranquility that Akasha offers.

Who we are

AKASHA is run by Theresa and Vaughan de Riggs.  They have set up AKASHA as part of a lifelong passion for creating a spiritual retreat that is purely focused on well being. This is their dream come true.

Theresa is a practicing Reiki practitioner and qualified massage therapist with many years experience. Theresa is also a Teacher of the Wisdom, teaching various courses in the New Thoughtform Presentation of the Wisdom , both as on-line courses and retreats at Akasha Retreat Centre.

AKASHA - A retreat for body, mind and soul

As we bring together all aspects of our being … body, mind and soul … into one integrated unit… we begin to live our life with greater purpose, and fulfilment.

At Akasha our focus is Spirit, and all that we offer here is in accordance with this focus.  Through the beauty of the nature that surrounds us we remember the beauty of the Truth that is within us … we catch a glimpse of the Light that we are.

So whether it be a short visit for a massage or a Reiki, or a longer stay on a Retreat or a course, we trust that you will be sparked by the beauty that is within and around you.

Much of what we do here at Akasha is by donation, this is to create a space that everyone can share… and in turn, everyone can contribute to the greater plan.

“An all pervading space in which all things are known to be whole” - this be “Akasha”
