Appointments are available for massage and Reiki on Monday afternoons, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.  If you haven’t been to Akasha for a massage or a Reiki yet – it is highly recommended.  No more rushing off straight after your treatment, just lie back and relax in the lounge area.  Help yourself to a cuppa or just have a snooze.  You are welcome to stay as long as you like and enjoy the peace and tranquillity.

Whether it is for relaxation, health and wellbeing, and/or a full body cleanse and detox, the FIR Sauna offers great potential.  In researching new and proven methods of detoxifying the body, I came across the FIR sauna (also known as a Detox Box), said to be the most effective and gentle method of detoxifying the body.  Some of the reported benefits of FIR sauna treatments: removing toxins and wastes (including heavy metals), reducing stress and fatigue and improving sleep patterns, burning calories, relaxing and soothing tired sore muscles, relieving joint stiffness and pain, boosting metabolism and enhancing blood circulation, improving the immune system and promoting healthier skin.  Quite a list of potential benefits that will enhance a health and wellbeing retreat at Akasha Retreat Centre.
