Enjoying NatureAkasha Retreat Centre is set on approximately 20 acres of land, with most of this being natural bush. All guests are welcome to wander through the trees and bushes at their own leisure. By day you can enjoy watching the various birdlife – eagles, hawks, magpies, kookaburras, finches, wrens, robins… plus many more. As well as enjoying all the native flora that keeps changing with the seasons. In the evenings the wombats, kangaroos and wallabies are never too far away, and you may be fortunate enough to spot an owl. On those cold winters days it is always beautiful to curl up in front of the woodfire and watch the storms pass by through the valley. Sunsets and sunrises are usually quite spectacular, and of course the night sky is so clear that it seems that you can see forever. |
